Crispy Juicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger

Ingredients

1 cup buttermilk – 4 Skinless boneless Chicken Breasts (hammered) – 1 cup Buttermil – 1 tsp salt – 1 tsp black pepper – 1 tsp smoked paprika – 4 tbsp hot sauce – 1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp salt 1 tsp paprika

– 1 Cup all-purpose flour – 1⁄2 cup corn starch – 1 teaspoon smoked paprika – 1 tsp garlic powder – 1 teaspoons onion powder – 1⁄2 tsp black pepper – 1⁄2 tsp chili powder – 1⁄4 tsp baking soda – 1 tsp salt – 1 tsp mixed herbs / oregano (optional)

– 1 1⁄2 cups panko breadcrumbs – 2 eggs beaten

4. For Sauce & Toping

– 1⁄2 cup Greek yogurt or mayo +2 tbsp hot sauce. Tomato,onion,lettuce,pickled cucumber & cheese.

Pound The Chicken

Prepare The Buttermilk Mixture with Buttermilk & Spices

Prepare The Coating with Flour & Spices  

Coat The Marinated Chicken with Flour Mixture

Egg Wash the Coated Chicken

Finaly Coat the Chicken with Breadcrumbs

Cook the Chicken

Deep Fry: Heat the oil in deep pan over medium heat, fry chicken for 6–8 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Air Fry: At 375°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Bake:  In oven at 400°F for 10–12 minutes per side until crispy and fully cooked.

Assemble the Burger

Lightly toast burger buns. Spread sauce on the bottom half.   Add lettuce, crispy chicken, pickles, tomatoes, onions, and a drizzle of chili garlic sauce or ketchup &top with the bun.
