Ingredients
  • 4 slices (bran bread or your favorite bread)
  • 1 cup cheddar and Mozzarella cheese mixed (grated)
  • 1 tbsp un-salted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup red and green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp cilantro (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp chilies (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp salt (adjust according to taste)
Instructions
  1. Pre heat your Air fryer:

    Pre heat your air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.

  2. Prep the bread:

     Mix the butter with garlic and spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice.

  3. Assemble the sandwiches:

    Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on a cutting board.  Sprinkle with cheese, chilies, red and green bell pepper, spices and cilantro (if using). Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
    Secure your sandwiches with toothpicks.

  4. Air fry to perfection: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the assembled sandwiches in the air fryer basket and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve and enjoy! Immediately transfer the sandwiches to plates and relish the gooey, crispy, and spicy deliciousness!
