– 1 angel food cake – 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jell-O – 1 1⁄4 cups boiling water – 1 lb diced strawberries frozen – 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip
– 1 package (8 ounce ) cream cheese – 1 cup whipped cream – 2-3 tbsp white sugar
1. Prepare Angel Food Cake: Cut the angel food cake into 1–2 inch pieces and set aside in a bowl.
2. Prepare Strawberry Mixture: In a saucepan, boil 1 1/4 cups of water. Dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in the boiling water.Add frozen strawberries to the mixture
3. Combine Ingredients: Transfer the strawberry mixture to a large mixing bowl. Fold in the Cool Whip until well combined and creamy.
4.Assemble the Dessert: Add the cake pieces to the Whip mixture and Gently fold everything together until the angel food cake is evenly coated Pour the mixture into a dish.
5. Combine: Beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of the dessert and decorate with strawberries.
6.Chill: Refrigerate the dessert for at least 3 hours to chill and set. Longer chilling time improves the flavor.
